| QUESTION:
I love to cook and often have guests around to my house for dinner, the trouble is I hate cleaning up afterwards. Dirty grill pans, a smeary glass top table, not to mention wrecked nails! Is there anything that you can suggest to make my life easier?
Michelle, Leeds |
 |
ANSWER:
First of all get a pair of gloves on you! You will
be ready to face the dirtiest of tasks and your
hands won’t get grubby in the process!
Secondly, greet your guests with a sparking glass
tabletop by buffing it up with a Spontex
Window Wonder. Finally, for when the guests have left,
invest in some Spontex washing up tools! Spontex
Scour Devil is a great little helper in the kitchen
and will get rid of all of that nasty burnt on
food. |

| QUESTION:
I am having lots of bad luck at the moment and my friend seems to think it maybe because my house is a bit grubby – apparently having a spotless home brings you good luck because of all the positive Feng Shui. Is this true and what particular areas do you suggest I keep the most sparkling?
Maria, London |
ANSWER:
Maria, you are quite right! For good luck it is essential that positive energy be allowed to flow freely through your home, it can’t do this with dirt and grime in the way!
First of all make sure that all your windows and mirrors are gleaming. This will work to deflect negative chi. Try a Spontex Window Wonder, you will be amazed! Secondly place a Spontex
Sparkle next to your kitchen sink; this shiny scourer works to counteract the negativity of flowing water. Thirdly, ensure that you never leave washing up in the sink, the ancient principles of Feng Shui believe that this will cause problems with money.

Here are some more handy household tips that some of you have
sent in to share!

Sara Liddell from Northern Ireland has a good idea!
-
Before cleaning my microwave, I heat a small cup of water for 30 seconds and then wipe the microwave with my Spontex dishcloth. This makes the microwave much easier to clean!

| Wendy Smith has found another way to use her rubber gloves:
-
I find rubber gloves invaluable for removing pet hairs from clothing, carpets, 3 piece suites etc. The hair just forms rolls which are easily lifted off.
